When you come into a uBreakiFix store, a technician will look over your device to get you the most accurate quote for your repair. For more complicated issues, these diagnostic tests may cost a fee, ranging from $39.99 to $59.99, but we’ll always let you know beforehand. And don't worry—the diagnostic fee will be applied to the total cost of your repair if you choose to move forward.

Most repairs come with a 1-year limited warranty, covering both parts and labor. The only exceptions are liquid damage repairs or if we’re working on your device through your Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranty or some other coverage plan. Then the terms of that coverage would apply. Our 1-year limited warranty is honored at any uBreakiFix by Asurion location nationwide, giving you peace of mind if you move or travel.

Walk-ins are always welcome. You can also schedule an appointment online or by phone to ensure the shortest possible wait time.

Before you head in, we recommend backing up your data and removing cases or accessories. Once you arrive, we may ask you to turn off your passcode and the Find My setting on your iPhone so we can run diagnostic tests.

While our technicians take great care to protect your privacy, some repairs may require resetting your device. For that reason, we recommend backing up your data before bringing in your device.

If your device is covered by a protection plan, start a claim to get the best price. Your plan provider will tell you next steps and what to expect with your repair.

Most common repairs like screen or battery replacements are completed the same day, often within an hour. More complex issues, especially issues that require we order parts that we don't keep in stock, may take longer, but we’ll give you a clear estimate of the time involved before any work begins and keep you updated throughout the process.
