Tech repairs are big business. uBreakiFix opened 95 stores in 2019, ending the year with 559 locations across North America. Texas remains one of uBreakiFix’s highest volume states with 50 locations, followed by its home state of Florida, which boasts 84 stores.

The location is franchise operators John Bailey Jr. and John Bailey III four location for uBreakiFix and first in Indiana. Their other locations are in Michigan, in Kalamazoo, West Lansing and Flint Township.

Asurion throws ‘rocket fuel’ on UBreakiFix growth

uBreakiFix and its 30-something co-founder and CEO Justin Wetherill have a well-heeled corporate parent now that electronics insurance giant Asurion bought the 10-year-old electronics repair franchise with its 545-plus stores this fall. uBreakiFix is now a subsidiary of Nashville-based Asurion, with the franchise model, its headquarters in Orlando and Wetherill’s post as chief executive of the brand expected to remain intact, he said.
