CTIA, the wireless industry association, today announced the Wireless Industry Service Excellence (WISE) Authorized Service Provider (ASP) Certification Program. The WISE ASP program creates a network of certified retail locations, helping consumers identify qualified providers that meet the highest standards for service quality and wireless device repair… “Both uBreakiFix and our parent company, Asurion, are committed to the highest levels of quality and providing the best service in the industry,” said uBreakiFix President and Co-founder Justin Wetherill. “The WISE ASP program will give consumers peace of mind that repairs will meet or exceed industry standards, and we are proud to have played a role in establishing that standard.” uBreakiFix, recently acquired by Asurion, operates 540 stores providing walk-in repair options for a wide variety of mobile devices.
uBreakiFix is the dedicated place to go for getting your phone repairs and this is especially true for the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. That’s because the company has just announced that it will offer same-day repairs on those two phones. Meaning you’ll get a quick turn-around on your device if you need something fixed on it. If it wasn’t enough that repairs can be finished the same day you take the phone in, they’ll be available at all locations. Every single location that uBreakiFix operates. Nationwide, and any part of town. Because this isn’t piloting in just a few cities, customers have a lot more freedom here. Not to mention convenience.
Last month, I did something for the first time in my tech-buying life. My phone contract reached the end of its two-year span, and I chose not to upgrade my smartphone. The next big smartphone feature might have nothing to do with megapixels or gigahertzes, but everything to do with how easily the phone can be fixed.
Leading tech repair franchise uBreakiFix announced 26 new store openings during the third quarter of 2019, bringing the brand’s total footprint to 545 stores across North America. In August, uBreakiFix also was formally acquired by global tech care company Asurion. As a subsidiary of Asurion, uBreakiFix maintains its brand, leadership team, and franchise model while enjoying increased support and expanding its network of customers.
The most expensive but safest option is to get a repair directly from the manufacturer or an authorized service center. Apple, Google, Samsung and most other manufacturers will replace your battery, screen and other parts for a fee. Samsung partners with a company called uBreakiFix that has nearly 500 locations across the country. Using an officially authorized repair center guarantees that your phone’s manufacturer won’t deny you service if you need a repair or help from them in the future.
