It’s that time of year again, summer is winding down and school is starting up. Education is more competitive than ever- especially with many students now having multiple electronic devices at their disposal. Reading the textbooks and writing down assignments is no longer enough, education is a constant pursuit, and with these apps for iOS and Android, your days are about to get a whole lot more organized and productive.

Since these apps are to make your day more productive, it makes sense to start with some alarm clock apps, right? Alarm Clock Extreme is great for those that enjoy hitting the snooze button a little too much. The sounds and colors are able to be customized to your liking. One of the best feature of this app is the sort of puzzles or tasks you can take advantage of, to make sure you get out of bed sooner rather than later! One of the most popular options is solving a math problem (you choose the difficulty) to make sure you are up and awake before you can turn the alarm off.

Most would agree that the days of pen and paper are over. We are constantly on our devices, so it makes sense to use these platforms for managing tasks and to do lists. Evernote is one of the most beloved organization/task driven apps on the market right now. With Evernote, you can manage tasks by creating lists, clipping web pages, videos, pictures- you can even voice record! You can sync your Evernote platform across all your devices, so you can always keep track of what you need to get done. Evernote is sort of a funny thing, because at first it doesn’t impress many people. The trick is, the more you use it, the more it will do for you. Using this app, you can develop notes or even notebooks to compile the information you want handy. These notebooks can be shared with people, and one handy tip is developing notebooks for the people in your life. This is great for storing, pictures, information such as health concerns, allergies, important dates- even gift ideas! Once you start using this platform to organize your life, you will wonder how you ever lived without it…

Another useful app is the well known Dropbox. This is another tool for getting organized- you can sync your whole iTunes library or upload your documents so they are ready to share at any time. This is especially useful for working on projects, and can make group projects a breeze! Another great benefit to Dropbox is being able to build a digital library if you read a lot of E-books. One of the best Dropbox tips floating around the internet is a shortcut that will simplify the need to backup your documents. All you have to is set your “My Documents” folder to your established Dropbox account, and from then on when you save documents, they are instantly backed up and easier to share!

Being in school takes up enough of your time, don’t be unprepared on top of everything else that you are juggling! make sure you stay tuned to the uBreakiFix blog for more blog posts on tools to make your life easier!
