Workout in the comfort of your own home on your own schedule with the help of a workout app. You can still feel the burn and tone up as effectively as you would at a gym or fitness class. Even for the gym rat, a workout app can be a great tool to improve and maximize your workouts. Here are some of our favorites: 

Aaptiv

Aaptiv provides on-demand audio classes that give you just as hard of a workout as you’d get at a fitness studio. The trainer’s voice will guide you through the workout of your choice, which could be anything from yoga to interval training, all set to music that will keep you engaged. It’s not free, but at $10/month it’s cheaper than a gym membership.

FitStar Personal Trainer

If you’re looking for a more personalized fitness plan, check out FitStar Personal Trainer. It adjusts your workout to suit your body type, fitness level, and goals.
