Ever Seen an iPhone Break in High Speed?

After fixing thousands of iPhone's that other people break, we decided it might be fun to break a few iPhones of our own. Although breaking them was fun, we didn't break perfectly good iPhones only for fun; that would be a waste. We broke them and also watched them shatter, in slow-motion, at 10,000 frames per second. To give you an idea of how fast that is, the average household camera records at around 24 to 30 frames per second. We enlisted the help of several drop-test engineers with high-speed video equipment in a South Florida drop-test lab. After 5 hours of filming and several broken iPhones, we came out with some pretty cool footage. Check it out below.
